Geisslers Apparatus

Geissler's Apparatus, a small and compact form of apparatus used in chemical analysis for the speedy determination of carbonic acid in carbonates, the latter being decomposed and esr timated by the loss of weight owing to the carbonic acid gas, C02, evolved. Various modifications of Geissler's original form are also used .for, the same purpose.
