Twining, THOMAS (1734-1804), rector of White Notley, Essex, and afterwards of St. Mary's, Colchester, published in 1789 a good translation of Aristotle's Poetics. A successful publication of 1883, Recreations and Studies of a Country Clergyman of the Eighteenth Century, was made up of selections from his correspondence.
