Moldau, a river of Bohemia, 278 miles in length. Its source is in the Bohmerwald Mountains in lat. 49° N., at an elevation of 3.870 feet above the sea. It flows S.E. for 50 miles, and then curves N., joining the Elbe at Melnik, 21 miles after passing Prague.
