Hyferes

Hyferes, a town and commune of France, in the clepartment of Var and the arrondissement of

Toulon. The town is 3 miles from the coast of the Mediterranean, lat. 43° 7' N., and long. 6° 7' E., on the S.E. slope of a hill. The neighbouring maik'etgardens are famous for early fruit and vegetables and for winter roses. Orange-flower water is the chief product of the town.
