Guns

Guns are now undergoing a process of development which renders a final statement with regard to them almost impossible. It may be mentioned, however, that in the navy a tendency against heavy guns manifests itself, and the wire wound gun has been introduced with favour. In the army, numerous guns are in use, among the latest being the Maxim machine guns.
