Fortuna

Fortuna, the Roman goddess of "luck," corresponding with the Greek Tyche. Some represent her as a daughter of Oceanus, others as a sister of the Fates, and she is represented with various emblems, the most usual being a wheel. Her worship prevailed in Etruria, and she had a temple at Antium with two oracular statues, a temple at Preeneste, and twenty-six temples at Rome. She is sometimes represented with wings, and Horace makes allusion to these.
