Cabbage Moth
Cabbage Moth (Mamestra brassicae) one of the commonest of British Noctuae; it lays its eggs as a rule on cabbages, upon the leaves of which the larvae feed; it may, however, use other plants. It must not be confused with the Cabbage Butterflies, which are better known.
