Bjornstjerna

Bjornstjerna, Magnus, Count, born in 1779 in Sweden; was employed in negotiations with Napoleon in 1809. and fought at Leipsic in 1813. He concluded the treaty which united Sweden and Norway in 1814, and from 1828 to 1846 was Swedish Ambassador in London. He died in 1847. Among other works he wrote an account of the Hindu theogony.
