Biberach, a town of Wurtemburg, in the circle of the Danube, situated at the junction of the Biberach with the Riss, a tributary of the Danube. It has an ancient church, dating from the 12th century, also a hospital and a college. It was a fine imperial city until 1802, when it came under the government of Baden, being ceded to Wurtemburg in 1806.
