Bangash

Bangash, a branch of the Afghans, inhabiting the Miranzai, Kohat, and Kurani valleys, traditionally from Seistan, though, according to others, driven hither in the 13th century by the Ghilzais of Gardez. Three main divisions: Miranzai, with eight khels; Baizae, with six khels; and Samalzae, with five khels.
