Prussia: Is the Latinized form of the German name Preussen, itself a corruption of an older Lithuanian name. Old Prussia was the Duchy formed in the eastern corner of Germany out of the possessions of the Teutonic knights, whose inhabitants in the Tenth Century were called Prutheni or Pruzzi, which, according to Zeuss, is a Lettish name meaning "neighbors."
