Index | Peleus

Peleus. King of the Myrmidons at Phthia, in Thessaly. Having, in conjunction with his brother Telamon, murdered his half-brother Phocus, he was expelled by Aeacus from Aegina, and went to Thessaly. He was purified from the murder by Eurytion, who gave Peleus his daughter Antigone in marriage, and a third part of his kingdom.
