Index | Hematite

Hematite. An important ore of iron, the sesquioxide, so called because of its red color when in the form of powder. It occurs in splendent rhombohedral crystals, and in massive and earthy forms, the last being called red ochre.

“Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’”
Acts 2:38
