V. Resurrection of the Dead

Matthew 22:31 - And as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken to you by God,

Matthew 22:32 - I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

Mark 12:26 - And as for the dead rising: have you not read in the book of Moses, how God spoke to him in the bush, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

Mark 12:27 - He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: therefore you are greatly mistaken.

Luke 20:37 - That the dead are raised, even Moses showed in the account of the bush, when he called the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

Luke 20:38 - For he is not the God of the dead, but of the living: for all are alive to him.

Matthew 22:29 - Jesus answered them, You err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

Matthew 22:30 - For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like the angels in heaven.

Mark 12:24 - Jesus answered them, Is this not the reason you err, because you do not know the scriptures or the power of God?

Mark 12:25 - For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are like the angels in heaven.

Luke 20:34 - Jesus answered and said to them, The people of this age marry, and are given in marriage:

Luke 20:35 - But those who shall be accounted worthy to obtain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

Luke 20:36 - Nor can they die any more: for they are like the angels; and are the children of God, since they are children of the resurrection.

John 5:28 - Do not marvel at this: for the hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs shall hear his voice,

John 5:29 - And shall come forth; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.

John 6:39 - And this is the will of him who sent me, that of all he has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up on the last day.

John 6:40 - And this is the will of my Father, that every one who sees the Son, and believes in him, may have eternal life: and I will raise him up on the last day.

John 11:25 - Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live:
