VIII. The Great Commandments

Matthew 22:37 - Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

Matthew 22:38 - This is the first and greatest commandment.

Matthew 22:39 - And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself.

Matthew 22:40 - On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Mark 12:29 - And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

Mark 12:30 - And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.

Mark 12:31 - And the second is this, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.

Matthew 7:12 - Therefore, all things that you would have men do for you, do for them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Luke 6:31 - And as you would have men do to you, do the same to them.
