I. The Disciples

Luke 22:28 - You are those who have stood by me in my trials.

Matthew 19:28 - And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, At the renewal of all things, when the Son of man shall sit upon the throne of his glory, you who have followed me shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Luke 22:29 - And I grant to you a kingdom, as my Father has granted to me;

Luke 22:30 - That you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Matthew 18:18 - Truly I say to you, Whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

John 20:23 - If you forgive the sins of any one, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any one, they are retained.

John 15:27 - And you also shall bear witness, because you have been with me from the beginning.

Matthew 13:11 - He answered them, It has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.

Mark 4:11 - And he said to them, To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but to those who are outside, all these things are done in parables:

Mark 4:12 - That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest they should be converted, and their sins be forgiven.

Luke 8:10 - And he said, To you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others it is in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

Matthew 13:16 - But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

Matthew 13:17 - For truly I say to you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which you hear, and have not heard them.

Luke 10:23 - And he turned to his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that you see:

Luke 10:24 - For I tell you, that many prophets and kings desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which you hear, and have not heard them.

Matthew 13:51 - Jesus said to them, Have you understood all these things? They said to him, Yes.

Matthew 16:8 - When Jesus perceived this, he said to them, O you of little faith, why do you discuss among yourselves that you have brought no bread?

Mark 8:17 - And being aware of this, Jesus said to them, Why do you discuss having no bread? do you not yet see or understand? are your hearts hardened?

Mark 8:18 - Having eyes, do you not see? and having ears, do you not hear? and do you not remember?

Mark 8:21 - And he said to them, How is it that you do not understand?

Matthew 16:9 - Do you not yet understand; do you not remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets you took up?

Matthew 16:10 - Or the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets you took up?

Mark 8:19 - When I broke the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you pick up? They said to him, Twelve.

Mark 8:20 - And when I broke the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you pick up? And they said, Seven.

Matthew 16:11 - How is it that you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread, but that you should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

John 16:12 - I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.

John 6:61 - But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said to them, Does this offend you?

John 6:67 - Then Jesus said to the twelve, Do you also want to go away?

John 6:70 - Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

Matthew 21:2 - Saying to them, Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you shall find a donkey tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them to me.

Mark 11:2 - And said to them, Go into the village opposite you: as soon as you enter it, you shall find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat; untie it and bring it here.

Luke 19:30 - Saying, Go into the village opposite you; and as you enter it you shall find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat: untie it, and bring it here.

Matthew 21:3 - And if any man says anything to you, you shall say, The Lord has need of them; and immediately he will send them.

Mark 11:3 - And if any man says to you, What are you doing? say that the Lord has need of it; and will send it back immediately.

Luke 19:31 - And if anyone asks you, Why are you untying it? you shall say, Because the Lord has need of it.

John 14:25 - These things I have spoken to you while I am still present with you.

Matthew 23:10 - Neither be called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

Luke 22:35 - And he said to them, When I sent you out without purse, or bag, or sandals, did you lack anything? And they said, Nothing.

Luke 22:36 - Then he said to them, But now, he who has a purse, let him take it, and likewise a bag: and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

Matthew 24:9 - Then they shall deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated by all nations for my name's sake.

Mark 13:9 - But take heed for yourselves: for they will deliver you up to councils; and you shall be beaten in the synagogues: and you shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, as a testimony to them.

Mark 13:11 - But when they bring you to trial, do not worry about what you shall say: but whatever is given to you in that hour, speak that: for it is not you who speaks, but the Holy Spirit.

Mark 13:13 - And you shall be hated by all men for my name's sake: but he who endures to the end shall be saved.

Luke 21:14 - Therefore, settle it in your hearts, not to meditate beforehand how you shall answer:

Luke 21:15 - For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to resist or refute.

Luke 21:16 - And you shall be betrayed both by parents, and brothers, and relatives, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

Luke 21:17 - And you shall be hated by all for my name's sake.

Luke 21:18 - But not a hair of your head shall perish.

Luke 21:19 - By your perseverance you shall win your souls.

John 16:27 - For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came from the Father.

John 12:30 - Jesus answered and said, This voice came not for me, but for your sakes.

Luke 24:48 - You are witnesses of these things.

Luke 22:38 - And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said to them, It is enough.

Matthew 26:31 - Then Jesus said to them, This night all of you shall fall away because of me: for it is written, I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered.

Mark 14:27 - And Jesus said to them, All you shall fall away because of me: for it is written, I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.

John 16:32 - Behold, the hour comes, yea, has now come, when you shall be scattered, every man to his own home, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

Matthew 26:38 - Then he said to them, My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death: remain here, and watch with me.

Mark 14:34 - And he said to them, My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, to the point of death: stay here, and watch.

Mark 14:32 - And they came to a place named Gethsemane: and he said to his disciples, Sit here, while I pray.

Matthew 26:40 - And he came to the disciples, and found them asleep, and said to Peter, What, could you not watch with me one hour?

Matthew 26:45 - Then he came to his disciples, and said to them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

Mark 14:41 - And he came the third time, and said to them, Are you still sleeping and resting? enough, the hour has come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

Mark 4:35 - And the same day, when evening had come, he said to them, Let us pass over to the other side.

Luke 8:22 - Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he got into a boat with his disciples: and he said to them, Let us go over to the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.

Mark 6:31 - And he said to them, Come by yourselves to a lonely place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat.

John 11:7 - Then after that he said to his disciples, Let us go to Judaea again.

Matthew 17:7 - And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and do not be afraid.

John 20:21 - Then Jesus said to them again, Peace be with you: as my Father has sent me, even so I send you.

John 20:22 - And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit:

Mark 16:15 - And he said to them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Luke 24:49 - And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but stay in the city, until you are clothed with power from on high.

John 14:31 - But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father commanded me, even so I do. Arise, let us go from here.

Matthew 4:19 - And he said to them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Matthew 9:9 - And as Jesus passed forth from there, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the tax office: and he said to him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

Mark 2:14 - And as he passed by, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the tax office, and said to him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

Peter

John 1:42 - And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus saw him, he said, You are Simon the son of John: you shall be called Cephas, which translated means, Peter.

Luke 5:4 - Now when he finished speaking, he said to Simon, Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a catch.

Luke 5:10 - And so were James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Fear not; from now on you shall catch men.

Matthew 16:17 - And Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah: for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 16:18 - And I say also to you, That you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

Matthew 16:19 - And I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Matthew 17:25 - He said, Yes. And when he came into the house, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, What do you think, Simon? from whom do the kings of the earth take customs or tribute? from their own sons, or from strangers?

Matthew 17:26 - Peter said to him, From strangers. Jesus said to him, Then the sons are free.

Matthew 17:27 - But lest we offend them, go to the sea, and cast in a hook, and take the first fish that comes up; and when you have opened its mouth, you shall find a shekel: take that, and give it to them for me and you.

Matthew 16:23 - But he turned, and said to Peter, Get behind me, Satan: you are an offence to me: for you are not thinking of the things of God, but of the things of men.

Mark 8:33 - But when he had turned about and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get behind me, Satan: for you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things that are of men.

Luke 22:31 - And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded to have you, that he might sift you as wheat:

Luke 22:32 - But I have prayed for you, that your faith will not fail: and when you have turned back, strengthen your brethren.

John 13:7 - Jesus answered and said to him, What I do you do not understand now; but you shall understand later.

John 13:8 - Peter said to him, You shall never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I do not wash you, you have no part with me.

John 13:10 - Jesus said to him, He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet, but he is clean all over: and you are clean, but not all of you.

John 13:36 - Simon Peter said to him, Lord, where are you going? Jesus answered him, Where I go, you cannot follow me now; but you shall follow me afterwards.

John 13:38 - Jesus answered him, Will you lay down your life for my sake? Truly, truly, I say to you, The cock shall not crow, until you have denied me thrice.

Matthew 26:34 - Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you, That this night, before the cock crows, you shall deny me thrice.

Mark 14:30 - And Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you, That this day, this very night, before the cock crows twice, you shall deny me three times.

Luke 22:34 - And he said, I tell you, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before you have thrice denied that you know me.

Mark 14:37 - And he came, and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, Simon, are you sleeping? could you not watch for one hour?

John 18:11 - Then Jesus said to Peter, Put your sword into its sheath: the cup which my Father has given me, shall I not drink it?

Luke 22:51 - And Jesus answered, No more of this. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

John 21:15 - So when they had eaten, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? He said to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you. He said to him, Feed my lambs.

John 21:16 - He said to him a second time, Simon, son of John, do you love me? He said to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you. He said to him, Tend my sheep.

John 21:17 - He said to him a third time, Simon, son of John, do you love me? Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, Do you love me? And he said to him, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you. Jesus said to him, Feed my sheep.

John 21:18 - Truly, truly, I say to you, When you were young, you girded yourself, and walked where you wanted: but when you grow old, you shall stretch forth your hands, and another shall gird you, and carry you where you do not want to go.

John 21:19 - This he spoke to signify by what kind of death he would glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he said to him, Follow me.

John 21:22 - Jesus said to him, If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? you follow me.

Thomas

John 20:27 - Then he said to Thomas, Reach here with your finger, and behold my hands; and reach here with your hand, and thrust it into my side: and do not be faithless, but believing.

John 20:29 - Jesus said to him, Because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed.

Judas Iscariot

John 13:27 - And after the morsel, Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to him, What you do, do quickly.
