B., 1870); College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York, 1875 (M. D.); Western Reserve, 1894 (LL. D.); Yale, 1896; Harvard, 1900; Toronto, 1903; Columbia, 1904. Author: "General Pathology of Fever"; also numerous papers on pathological and bacteriological subjects.
