Watts, George Frederick, R. A. Born in 1817. Painter. Gained a reputation by is "Caractacus Led in Triumph through the Streets of Rome." Among his chief works are "Fata Morgana," "Love and Death," "Time, Death, and Judgment," and portraits of Joachim, Manning, William Morris, etc. George Frederick Watts died in 1904.
