Barrows, Samuel June. Congressman, clergyman. Born in New York, 1845. Graduate of Harvard Divinity School, 1875. Pastor First church (Unitarian), Dorchester, Boston, 1876-80. Editor "Christian Register," 1881-97. Member Congress, 1897-99; represented United States on International Prison Commission, 1896. Author: "A Baptist Meeting House," "Crimes and Misdemeanors in the United States." Died 1909.
